I’ve been Personal Training clients for 28 years and have trained people with many different goals from event training, rehabilitation after various injuries, preparation for spinal surgery and then recovery and general training and maintenance.
I have a special interest in Scoliosis and spinal issues and many clients train with me as I have many years experience in this field including my own three scoliosis surgeries.
My aim is to increase strength, stamina, tone and with that decrease any pain a client may be experiencing.
Sessions are 1-2-1 or small groups, held at my private gym in NW11 or at your home within an 8 mile radius. I offer Zoom sessions.
PRICES
Initial Scoliosis Consultation and Assessment £140 for 90 mins. This session can also be used to build a session to work alone concentrating on technique.

Exercise should be enjoyed - every client has a programme built to suit them taking into consideration any joint or medical issues you may have. I can work with your physiotherapist to incorporate any rehabilitation exercises.
Choose and combine training methods from my private gym including cable machine, water tower - free weights - TRX - Slide - Bosu Ball - medicine balls - Ball - skipping ropes - weighted poles, leg weights
Lotte Berk Method (BARRE), Body Balance, circuits, body conditioning, resistance training, rehabilitation training.
Resistance Training is the fastest way to achieve your goals.

Where the joints move beyond normal range
For Children and Adults
Classes aim to strengthen muscles and train the body not to hyper-extend the joints in everyday movement - eg catching a ball, picking up objects, walking, running.
I use the Bosu Ball to improve balance and varied ankle weights to increase strength. Upper body strengthening includes working with free weights. I try to limit the range of movement during exercise to avoid hyper extension of joints.
I work with your Physiotherapist's exercise programme following medical advice.
Scoliosis
Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine, in which the spinal column can also twist, pulling the ribcage out of position.
The importance of regular exercise and strength techniques in pre and post-operative scoliosis cannot be underestimated. It is vital that muscles surrounding the spine are kept strong including chest, back, upper back and stomach.
Through my own experience of Scoliosis over 30 years, I combine a group of exercises to strengthen and help improve posture and ease pain.
